'She said they were then going to be gassed and therefore exterminated. She made me promise to tell the story of the camps, if I were to live."

Fox News sees the light on Snowden

Cliff Kincaid
Renew America
5 December 2013

"In other words, NSA leaker Edward Snowden, who has been charged with espionage, stole NSA documents and leaked them for the express purpose of weakening America's defenses against terrorism. To put it another way, Snowden was never the "whistleblower" he claimed to be, but has been serving the interests of America's enemies and adversaries."

I remain wary even now of exactly what Snowden is up to.

Yet he remains to me (as yet) a possible folk hero. (See earlier posts via topicary to your right for more on that idea.)

However, some degree of an America that is "sources, methods and surveillance activities overseas, rather than the privacy rights of American citizens" just might be on the other side of the continuing to be drawn in the sand line of the true America all true Americans remain willing to die for...

Jury still out on this one.

And/or still a tough one to call.

how 'bout that hope and change

Rise of the “Uber-President”: Obama Rewrites Laws, Ignores the Constitution

Lily Dane
Activist Post
4 December 2013

"Rep. Bob Goodlatte, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News that Obama has been altering and changing laws enacted by Congress, and overstepped his legal authority when he made changes to Obamacare.

“Our constitutional law professor president needs a refresher course on the separation of powers provisions in our United States Constitution,” said Goodlatte, a Republican from Virginia.

Goodlatte said Obama has also made changes to other laws, including some on immigration, EPA regulations, and “a whole host of other areas.”"
